I worked last night and slept to 12:30pm. I got up and could not believe the weather.80 degrees with NO humidity!! I normally would run 3 miles on a day that I have to return to work that night but I could not resist. I ran a couple of fast miles (7:20's) and the rest easy. My legs felt great.Heel pain was a 4 out of 10 at the start.

I went out this morning and found out that the humidity was back. I ran a couple of fast miles (7:27 & 7:33) and the rest was easy. Got dehydrated again but the legs felt better today.

Today I ran the Brooke Hill 5k in Decatur. Lots of friends from work ran this race also. Some of them had never ran a race before. My time was not a good as I had hoped for but it was a lot of fun and good enough for 2nd in my age division. John Elmore and Eric Schotz directed this race and did a great job!!
