Get healthy, run pain-free. Have had sciatic nerve issues since 2009, damaged knee cartilage early 2015, so have been a jogger for a while.

Do well in the 50s age group, keep running pain-free.

Aunt Betty. Started easy but felt pretty good so ran the last 4 miles at only a little over 8:00 average. Overall ran 67:28 for the 8 miles per Garmin and am quite content with that. Sciatica acted up between 5 and 6 but eased after that.

Out to Sand Beach and back. Added 5 x 2:00 pickups just above or below 7:00 pace, plus a hard 2:00 on the loose sand in prep for RtB.

After work WHP. Hot and sticky, but at least not as bad as yesterday. Passed a bike on an uphill, so I was probably running faster than I should have, but no Garmin so no data.
