Weights (back, lats). Then 36 minutes elliptical hell. Followed by 10 more minutes of elliptical hell doing tabata sprints. Walked 25 minutes on the dreadmill. And why no running? Because my left leg is hurting in the same spot on the shin as my right was a few months ago. BAD YEAR. I am so pissed. Think I am done trying to run and compete. Blah. Why blog either. Always hurt. Always angry. The silver lining though is I am more engaged in the lives of my kids this summer. It has brought me so much happiness sans marathon training. I love my kids and husband. Our family is blossoming so much right now. So if running takes a back seat, I am so okay with that.
