I was thinking about your workout the other day... 12x400 w/ only 30 secs rest is really hard... especially since you were essentially doing them at close to 5K pace... that's an awesome early season workout... I bet you aren't far off 5K PR shape right now, and you haven't even raced.

Jake..... I have been thinking the same thing all day. I was thinking it's time to find a 5k and see how I am stacking up. It's early and I never start racing usually until May. I hope I am in shape enough to get what I want out of the 5k. I don't care when it happens, whether it's not until the summer, I just want an 18 minute flat 5k time. It has been bothering me for years... I need someone to come to the track with me and force even quicker turnovers. Maybe my brother....he is a fast sprinter. I need to enlist his help or something.
