4.10

I slept until 5:25 today which is an hour later than I normally wake. It felt good. My legs felt trashed yesterday from my fast running on Monday. So today I knew I was going to take it easier. I ran 4.10 on the tm. My left pirformis started tightening and hurting a bit, so I kept my miles low today. I jumped off and got on an elliptical for 25 minutes.

I feel so bad for Julie. Her pirformis is still hurting her. She's pretty emotional about it. She hasn't run much at all for awhile now. She was obviously not doing well with it today. We went over to the weight floor and got the foam roller to help her roll it out. When she tells me her feelings, and where she hurts, it's like the twilight zone. It's like she is talking about me just two months ago. So weird. I want to help her any way I can.

I hate injuries, I am such a baby when I'm injured. I cry all the time and not from the pain!

That sucks for Julie. Injuries are the pits.

Where is that muscle? Is that leg, foot, or back?

Good of you to be there for her! Hopefully its a good thing to see where you've come from to where you are now. Keep it up. :)

Jun, the pirformis is in the glute. Medius to be exact. When it tightens up, it hurts like a motha...

And thank you Dorsi, I am trying. :)

Hey, Lily, you are the bestest. I felt much better after talking to you. I just realized I need to give it more time. And thanks everyone else for the encouragement! I don't have anything to log on my blog, but I check all of your awesomeness out every day. Keep up the good times! I am living vicariously through you.
