I'm tired.

60 minutes on the elliptical. medium level.

Ran 5 miles at a  slower recovery pace (8:06) My legs are a little tired from the track plus the 3 extra miles I did last night. But it's a good thrashed, not bad. They are learning to take a beating again :)

I did 5 miles @ 8:08 pace today, so you would have beaten me by a good 25 yards! :-)

Thank heaven for recovery miles. It felt good to just take it easy this morning.

Yeah that's the nice thing about just letting yourself run slow after harder workouts... you can just relax and enjoy the run.

Someday I'll have to get the scoop from you and Andrea on how to eat. I get so confused about what to eat and when during my training. It's a bit of a struggle.

I have to laugh b/c I definitely am no expert or role model in that category. I probably could do things a lot better myself :-)

:) this is to funny. I was talking to Lynsey Dunkley and she said the same thing. She eats a ton of candy and chocolate everyday. Cracked me up!

If you dish it, you better be able to take it! The beating that is.... ;)

You had a KILLER workout on the track yesterday Lily!! Awesome work, I'm glad you felt good about relaxing and just taking it easy today. Gotta love that 'beat my legs up' feeling :) isn't that what we live for?
