30 min elliptical. 8 miles running with Sue and Merri. Good run. However, I am starting to feel the effects of marathon training. My body is telling me it's time to tone it down. I feel like I am peaked for sure. I wish it was Saturday. My si joint is acting up, my rear hurts. My feet hurt. My knees are pissed off at me. I am ready to back off on the running. After this marathon, you better believe I'll be the fast running blogger turned cross training foo. Kind of like Burt.

It's almost here and then you can heal up.

From Sue on Tue, Sep 20, 2011 at 16:11:30 from 63.248.41.148

You are right where you need to be! Tapper down and heal your body for two weeks and you will crush your time! You are ready!!! But yes after this I am done too!

I'm afraid I'm going to have to rely on your training too.. I'm just hoping to finish! You will dominate...

It's so close I can't wait!!! :) You'll be aok by then! Allie I was shocked to see you and Manu together and you were taller than him.

Oh, how I love the last two weeks of training - taper time! Relax and enjoy it. You can do nothing to help yourself the last two weeks before a marathon - you can only hurt yourself. Best advice I've EVER been given about training!

You ARE gonna smash your time Lily! No doubts here.

if you can survive that much time on the elliptical day in and day out you surely can reach for the stars at SGM. : D Enjoy the tapering Lily.
