Got up early with Laureen and did the Highland Glen loop. It was dark and kind of icy in a few places, but overall, conditions were pretty decent. We did run into a cold pocket of air north of the high school that made the fingers numb and gave us the kind of brain freeze that you get from eating ice cream too fast. It felt good to get out and have some time to talk.

Easy run this morning in the dark and cold. Left the house around 6:00 a.m. when the temperature was 17 degrees. I had dressed for the occasion, so I was quite comfortable, especially once I started running. Legs felt good and I could keep up a decent pace without any real distress. I've been running more than I've been blogging, so I need to go back and enter my information in. I'm ready to get serious again after a nice physical and mental rest. My wife, daughter and I are going to try to get ready for the Spectrum 5/10K in March.

After a lousy night's sleep and with a day packed with meetings, I opted for a quick run on the treadmill this morning. I was a little slow getting started, but was able to crank it up to 8 mph by the end. No aches or pains to speak of.

Just enough time for a quick workout on the treadmill. Started slow and finished at 8 mph.

Went out with Laureen and Amelia along the creek and along 48th in front of the high school. Brittany was gone or we might have been able to convince her to come along.
