Trying to ease back into a good running schedule after almost two weeks of being sick. I don't know if it was the flu since we all had our flu shots, but I was that sick (fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, achy joints, general fatigue, lung congestion, coughing and sore throat). I still have a bit of a cough, but I'm feeling pretty much back to normal at this point. I need to get signed up for the Spectrum 10K as that is coming up pretty fast, but I'll probably be in even worse shape than last year (when I could only manage just under eight minute pace). I'm scheduled to donate blood this Friday, but they may not want it since I've been sick. Usually, after I donate it takes about a month before I'm running at full strength.

| A nice warm (relatively), overcast afternoon. Felt good so I felt like I needed to go longer than I have for a while. Chest got kind of tight a few times so I had to stop and walk, but outside of that and a bit of soreness in my ankles, it went fairly well. No lingering issues afterwards. | Comments(1) |
