Was going to do a five out and back but ran into loose wild horses and decided not to turn back so went up past lone peak and on golf course trail coming back on trail by cedar ridge and deerfield. Lab work all in. I most likely have hemocramotosis and iron storage disease. My estrogen and progesterone are an all time low...lower than menopausal levels. Dhea super low...35 and supposed to be 75 - 410!!!!! Joint pains explained by all the above and not healing due to iron free radicals in my body. Some days less than a few weeks ago cause i have been taking dhea (even before level taken) i feel like i m dying. So fatigued and in so much pain in nerves and bones. Now i have answers. Bopefully i can be cured and feel good again. First mile 9:10. Then on last half mile of last mile i picked it up from an 8 pace and came in at 7:21 feeling pretty good minus the at the surface pubis burning.

Menopause and iron overload disease is reallly kicking my butt. Feel bad every day. But somehow think my way thru a wprkout. Was going to run the 3 mile trial but just had to stop seconds after start of third mile. But got heartrate down and got back on in two minutes.....for last mile at 6:15. First two at 6:31 and 6:27 at 0.5%. Last mile no incline. Oh and i ran a wu of 8:57 x mile then 8:49 til 1.75 miles then ran 0.1 miles x 12 with equal recovery at 8:41 pace. That got me to 4.25 miles. Stretched and got water. Very sweaty and woried about my heartrate without electrolyes in humid rec ctr. Hence why by third in a row mile i stopped and gave my heart a break. I have been peeing a lot and my estrogen is lower than menopausal level. So hydration is key but i was in a hurry tbis morning had to go to work for skills day and teach about glucose management all day. Paces for first part 10 mph x4 10.1 x4 10.2 x2 10.3 x2. I have .o idea how my body will hold up over 26.2 miles. 1:37 first half and see what i habe left the second.

Not much restful sleep all week with lots of overtime. Worked sun tues wedn and thurs. Took off on 18 miler from my house up by golf course out west by taunyas then up by janes. Wanted to quit about 7.5 miles so did not push pace. Put music on at 9.5 miles. Stopped at two miles to potty on lawn discreetly. Then again at mile 12. Gu at 6.2 and 12 at fountain. Only water whole run. Plan was to run 13 to 17 subsix pace but so did not feel up to it but miraculously i pulled it off....6:50, 6:51, 6:45 and 6:39. Ap 6:46 for those four. Ran last mile easy home down the hil. Four miles very gradual down. Probably 0.5 %. Ap for 18 7:59. Happy i survived and it was quite cold...wore gloves and two shirts. 46 degrees.
