Woke up feeling sick.  6 treadmill miles at home with the step aerobics block under the back.  I didn't know it at the time, but when I leveled later it may have been close to a -7% decline.  Pace was between 9:30 - 8:00 mm.  My hips were pretty sore for two day after this.

Met Cheris, Michelle M. and Andy at the Wrangler trailhead in Sandy to run the Dimple Dell trail.  We started up a steep hill on the east side and finished on a steep hill on the west side. A lot of running on wood chips and sand.  It was fun to run somewhere new.  Average pace 10:34.

Veterans Day is Saturday, so I was able to take off work today.  I met Michelle and Aaron at South Jordan soccer fields.  It was pretty windy heading South.  We did two three mile loops.  I felt good until the very end when my left gave out.  Average pace 8:58.

I was so nervous about the pain in my leg that I decided to run on the treadmill instead of with the group in case I had to quit.  It seemed to be okay.  I put a board under the back of the treadmill so I could alter the elevation up and down.  

1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down flat at 9:40  

8 miles average pace 8:40 (adjusting incline and decline each mile)

Treadmill at work.  2 mile warm up and 4 x 800 @ 8:00 w/ 800 recovery at 10:00.  I don't know if my hips or possibly my quads are tight, but several times I felt like my quads would almost give out on me while running. I've had this is my left knee before, but today this was more in my right quad.

Traveling home from Las Vegas yesterday, I wasn't able to run my 10 miles so I did it today.  10 miles on the treadmill at home alterating from flat, incline and decline each mile. Average pace 9:00.  The treadmill stopped my run right at 90 minutes and about threw me off.

Met the group at the church 12400 and 1200.  It was 29 degrees!  There are several hills on this route and I'm happy to say I stayed with the group and didn't walk at all.  Average pace 8:38.
