Jules is that Slaughter on your pic, I had 3 and a half wonderful hours of listening to "Hair Nation" on satalite radio Saturday night (driving home from St. George). I named every band but 2, my kids were dying laughing, so I had to explain that the 80's had the greatest hair bands ever. In fact, I think I'm going to rock out to some Poison right now! Aint lookin for nothin.......

Michelle- I am crazy. That's why we get along so well.
Peej- Congrats on your race. You did great. I'm so impressed that you recognized Slaughter. The 80's music was the best. Even my 16 year old daughter thinks the music was better then.
Burt- You're good. I can almost hear you singing that.:)

Well, I am a little embarassed that I had to ask, but in my defense, they are a little older. Seriously, my kids had no idea there were bands called Krokus, Dokken, LA Guns. Even my wife was blown away at my superior hair band knowledge, and she was right there with me in the 80's. She listened to HoJo and stuff like that, and I did tell her that I listened to it too, but I listened to EVERYTHING!

Mark Slaughter was the nephew of a member of our stake presidency when I was in high school. True story. I remember asking his daughter, "Is Slaughter really your cousin?" - "Yeah, but he's changed a lot." Hahahaha!

Old Marky was a babe back in the day! He is looking a little haggard these days. I was with Julie at that concert (I took the pic) and I can believe that he was raised a mormon boy. He seems really nice. He doesn't ever get too rowdy during the concerts. I have seen him 4 (yes 4) times.

Well, Shell, I have seen Ratt, Poison, Cinderella 6 times each. Motley Crue 3 times, Van Halen 3 times, Scorpions once. I'm tellin ya here and now 80's hair bands frickin rule!!!!!!!!! Did I mention Bon Jovi 2 times.

Was he raised Mormon? I'm not sure about that. Anyway, who's better - Slaughter or Cinderella? It's gonna be a long cold winter...long cold winter without your lo-ove... I vote for Cinderella, but it's close.

Wow CJ, you have seen a lot of concerts. I've actually been backstage with Slaughter, LA Guns, Dokken, Great White, Warrant, and Firehouse. Jerry and I even got to talk to Bret Michaels in his trailor. So I beat you. I'm really not a groupie. Jerry is a much bigger "hair band" fan than I am. It was fun though. Garth Brooks and Bon Jovi are my all time favorite singers/bands.
Burt- Cinderella did have some pretty good ballads, but Slaughter is better. Mark Slaughter has a cousin that lives right behind me. Small world.
Michelle- You are an excellent photographer. I wish you were in the picture.

What's his cousin's name, Doreen?
From Michelle N. on Tue, Mar 17, 2009 at 22:32:32 from 75.162.237.156
Well CJ, lets see, Crue twice, Poison twice, Van Halen 4, Chili Peppers, Metallica, AC/DC, oh and Hillary Duff! And many more!!! Most of my concerts have been 80's bands. I was raised with the crazy brothers that loved that music. Except Spe of course:) Maxwell jump! Yes, I thought it said Maxell jump instead of might as well jump in VH-jump. My brothers will still call me maxwell. What can I say, I was 8!

Well, the last few concerts that I have seen have been The Offspring, Kenny Chesney, Tim Mcgraw, Yanni, oh good hell did I admit to Yanni?
