We did the Fire Station run at XC practice. I was having heart problems while running it was real weird, but I took it easy. I took a pain killer (for my mouth) about 20 minutes before running and I don't think that was the best thing to do. It was good to finally run again.

Today at XC practice we ran out to the desert, across the round-about at the washington parkway and in to more desert. I started out with the lead group but later fell back just a little. At the 2 mile marker Steve, and Zac started to turn around so Monty and I did the same. Baker, Willy, Ruth, and Holt kept on going. It was starting to get hot by the time I turned around so I was glad I only ran 4. Overall it was a pretty good run. Run time: 29:30

 

 

Went up to Cedar Mountain and ran about 6.2 more miles with my dad. We started from our camp site and ran 3 miles out and back. It was good altitude training!

I was still camping up on cedar mountain with my family. Navajo lake wasn't too far away from our camp site so my dad wanted to do the loop around the whole freakin lake. We had run about 1.1 miles before the Navajo lake turn off. Than we looped the whole lake (which took forever). We jumped into the cold lake and hiked back up to the highway and ran about 400 meters back to our camp site. This run was about 9.5 miles, it was very, very good altitude training. Later this night we called in some Elk with my Elk bugle it was awesome!

Didn't run today but came home from camping and saw the PV XC team in the Dixie Life paper it was way cool.
