It hurts. Definitely broke a rib. Only hurts when I cough or sneeze or when I lay down or try to get up. Czech beer helps!

That stinks about the ribs. I've done that twice- one thing to watch for is that you can also strain muscles in your back from overuse as you try to protect your hurt rib (tightening muscles when moving, coughing, etc). After my rib mostly healed, I had to get 3 painful massages in a weak to start my back healing. I hope you heal quickly!
