6 miles today at track. The track coach threw a tantum (no joke for no reason) and sent everyone home without praticing. I stayed because i nedd to train, so i went out to the track did a 2 mile warmup( in the rain and wind alone) then continued into 400m with 200m rest repeats, 6 of them, 85-70 seconds goal. I did them. The slowest was 82 seconds and the fastest 74. Two mile cooldown and then walked home. Really understanding what a diehard runner is and i am happy to be one of them. :)
7.5 miles at track. Today i went a little slower, well i planned on it. 2 mile warmup and then ran hard for 5 minutes and rested for 2-3 minutes. We did 4 of these and i averaged 3 and 1/2 laps. I out ran everyone else by 550 meters. On one them i ran 3 and 3/4 laps in 5 minutes!!!!!! so i had a 100m left which means i probably could have just ran a 5:15ish mile!!!!!!!! On a dirt track!!!! I wasn't working really overly hard so i think i could go even faster!!!!! 1 mile cool down, feeling awesome!!!!
7 miles at track pratice. 3 mile run to bread store and back. Solid pase finished first 3 in 23:15 minutes. Ate a slice of pumpkin chocolate chip bread and ran back in 24 minutes even. I di not see a another teammate until about half way back. I had stpped, ate and crossed cross walks and still no one ran with me. :'(. Came back did mile cooldown. It is sure lonely being a faster long distance runner......
