I am running XC and track for Westminster College in SLC.  I will study Economics and go to law school.

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Run the Athen's (Greece) Marathon with my dad.

Help my college team build a strong program and continue to improve.

I ran the Dani Bates Invitational in Twin Falls.  I finished in 18:50 (coach and I had my time at 18:43) for a new PR.  I was hoping to run faster but the wind affected my in the last 2 miles.  Went out fast, maybe too fast.  Two other schools put their top varsity runners in the JV race to make sure they got medals (too slow to compete in the varsity race).  I was 7th overall in JV and now 8th on my team.  Still working to get the times I need to be back on varsity (another 30-40 seconds here is what I needed).  I am proud of my race.

Is that legal to put top runners on the JV teams? Sure doesn't sound like it. I didn't realize runners go back and forth between JV and Varsity depending on how they are running I though it was either or. Perhaps those runners were bumped down or something?!?!? Hmmmm!
