Adult PRs (since 2013): 5k 17:10, 10k 35:05, 1/2 Marathon 1:17:30, Marathon 2:55:00 (2014 Boston Marathon) Trail race 50k 5:08:00. Other achievements: 3x Boston Qualifier. Course Record holder, Utah Valley full and half marathon (Clydesdale Division) Short-Term Running Goals: finish a 100k and then a 100 miler in 2016. | 2:30 am start; ran 20 miles, 3:07 total time. 13 degrees out, best beard cycles ice had yet :) Wore CWX compression shorts under my loose tights with long underwear under that; chaffed me pretty bad. Worked on nutrition too-- ate about 200 calories every 40 minutes. Small peanut butter/honey tortilla at 40 and 2:00; chocolate covered granola bar at 1:20. Good to have consistent energy! Wish I had gotten more than three hours sleep the night before

| Ran in the cowbell race series this morning-soup in the snow addition! Wore some new slip on spikes for traction in the packed snow-thought that they work very well. Definitely stayed on my feet, and I think I was not slipping so much as I had been previously on that route. Total time for the run was one hour 44 minutes, good enough for second place-only one minute behind the overall winner. May be losing my right middle toenail!
