I've been married since January 2008 to my biggest fan, and best friend. We have 3 kids, Mackson, Kaylin, and Linclon. I am from Utah, but now live in Ohio (since July 2015) for Podiatry School.

8 miles on tm at 1.% incline in 54:28. Avg pace of 6:49. I felt really good during this run. Right when I started I felt like I was going to be able to go at a faster pace. I am a little disappointed that I only needed to run 8 miles, because I felt I could have held my final pace of 6:31 for several miles.

12 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 1;21;35, avg pace of 6:48. I didn't feel so hot at the start of this run, but a few miles in I was able to convince myself to make this run count.

9 miles on tm in 1:02:07. Starting at mile 2.5 I would change the incline from 1.0% to 1.5% and keep it there for half a mile, then go at 1.0% incline for half a mile. I did that until about mile 8.

10 miles on tm with 1.0% incline. I started out a little quicker than normal because I wanted to start doing a speed workout about 30 minutes in. After 30 minutes I increased the speed to 9.3 mph (6:27) and held it for 6 minutes, then went to 10.7 mph (5:36) for 1 minute. I did 5 times with no recovery or breaks in between. I felt really good during and after. I was tired while doing it, but I felt like I could have kept of doing it.

This is the fastest I have done a 10 mile training run. I also beat my only 15k time during this run. I hope I am actually improving, and not just wearing myself out. I feel good and not like I am pushing it too hard too soon.

11 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in bout 1:20:00. I am tired. Not getting enough sleep, and running is adding up. My body was telling me to take it easy today, so I listened. Sometimes its easier to run at a faster pace than to run at a slower pace.

Hopefully I can catch up on some sleep in a while, but it certainly won't be tonight.

8 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. When I first started out I got some sharp shooting pains in my right ankle. They would be off and on about every 30 seconds. At one point I almost put my arms on the handles to take the weight off of my foot. It didn't feel like anything serious, so I pushed through. After about 10 minutes they went away.

I could feel that my form was not so good at the beginning of my run, but it felt like it got better towards the end.I feel like my right leg might be a little longer than my left leg, and it makes me run a little sideways. Maybe I could try an insert to try and even it out.

13 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 1:27:39. I started out at 8.3 mph and increased the speed by 0.1 mph every mile.

I took a gu around mile 6 and a few ounces of watered down gatorade at 6.5. I then had a few more ounces of gatorade at mile 10. I probably didn't need the gu, but anytime I get a chance to have a peanut butter gu, I take it!

I felt good during this run. No pain in my right ankle, and my form felt way better than it did yesterday.

10 miles on tm in 1:09:15. I felt really relaxed during this run, and I felt like my form was really good.I did the last mile in 5:45. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt after having run 9 miles and doing the last mile that fast (that is fast for me).

I figure this is my last week on the treadmills. I had better start running outside so I can start training with some wind resistance and elevation changes.

11 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. I wanted to do a speed workout today but I just wasn't feeling it. I tried for a little bit, but it didn't take long to realize that a speed workout would drain my energy really fast.

Even though I wasn't feeling it, I still finished in 1:16:05, an avg pace of 6:55. Hopefully I can keep this up when I get back out on the roads. next week.

12 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. I have felt absolutely beat the last 2 runs. I avg 6:58 today, but It felt like a death march from about mile 3 on. Perhaps I need to take a nap and do some easy runs the next few days and not push the pace at all.

10 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. I took this nice and easy at about an 8.2-8.3 mph pace. Tomorrow will be an easy paced run as well, maybe slower than today's. I just feel crappy.

I dont know if it is my lack of sleep, my poor diet, or if I have gotten sick of running on the treadmills, but my runs this week have been death marches from the start. Hopefully I can take my test early tomorrow and go running outside for the first time this year.

14 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 1:37:34, avg pace of 6:59. This was the only run all week that I didn't want to quit 3 or 4 miles in. I started out at 8.2 mph and increased my speed by 0.1 mph every 1.5 miles.

I was wanting to do this run outside after my test and before work. I got done with my test at 3:30 and start work at 6;00, just enough time to squeeze in a run, shower, and head to work. But my brother-in-law wanted to play Madden. It is hard to pass up Madden, so I didn't. We played 3 games, and I had to run to work to make it on time (dang overtime).

And I guess I am a wimp now, because 30 degrees just seemed too cold to go running. I hope I can get off the treadmill, but with march madness in our presence, it will be hard to do.

I was going to do 11 today, but I wasn't feeling up to it, and I ate spicy enchiladas about 1 hour before I went running. i had to stop once to go to the bathroom, and I could feel another stoppage coming on. I didn't really want to run bloated and uncomfortably, so I finished out 6 and called it a day.

14 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. The easy short day yesterday did me a lot of good. I felt good during this run. It wasn't until about mile 9 that I started getting a little tired. I kept it nice and easy and didn't try to force the pace or effort.

10 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 1:12:24.I was supposed to do a speed workout today, but I had a really bad night sleep, and couldn't convince myself to do a workout at 5:30 in the morning. So I just kept it at an easy pace and tried not to fall asleep.

I stayed up until 1 am throwing up. I knew I didn't feel good during last nights run. I had downed about 60 ounces or water/gatorade/protein drink after my run, and my body thought it was too much.

On a brighter side, I was a few pounds lighter for todays run thanks to the sickness last night. I did 11 miles at an easy pace. I stayed at 8.4 mph the whole time and finished in 1:18:40. avg pace of 7:09.
