10- I had planned on going over and doing the club run, but then decided against it.  I'm was worried about not being able to go 19 miles.  I haven't done any long runs since the Utah Valley Marathon.  It also didn't help that Jarren was up a few times during the night and the shuttle was leaving at 4:30 am (I don't do early mornings very well)  Anyway, I ended up sleeping in and then did a run from the start of the old Hurricane Half Starting Line back to my house.  Started late 9:00 am, so already hot.

1-7:13

2-6:35-

3-6:41

4-6:46- these were three pretty good miles

5-7:43 struggled on the hills..stopped and walked a little

6-8:38 a little more walking

7-8:30

8-6:31 Start of the downhill La Verkin Twist

9-6:08

10-7:14 backed off the last .5

1:12:07 average 7:13

This was a good run and test of where I'm at.  Lots of work to do.  Having bronchitis really sat me back the last few weeks.  Anyway, I guess we'll just see what happens the next few weeks.

How is the hip doing Dustin? I have been struggling with a sore hip on and off for 3-4 months. Once I started biking about a month ago I have got the hip feeling about 85-90%.

On the bike it is making me be very balanced in my effort and I am not favoring one side of my body like I must be when running. Might be worth a few bike sessions a week to help balance out and strengthen the hips...has been working for me- Missed you on Saturday, I understand about not being ready for 19 miles.....I wasn't and now I am paying the price
