total running time 52:44. the plan was first mile in 9:05 to 9:10 and then go 9:00, 8:55, 8:50, 8:45, 8:40. I ended up running faster than this but totally understimated how much all 5 bike rides outside would affect me. I ride harder when outside and my legs felt it big time. I ended up with 2 brief traffic breaks heading up to mile 4. I stopped to stretch and rest at about 3.96 miles. I then had 2 more traffic breaks- one quite long. I also had to wait for about 30 seconds for a family with a stroller and 2 big dogs that were crossing a pedestrian bridge right before me. My total stoppage time was almost 3 minutes. I wouldn't ahve been able to run the last 2 miles as fast as I did without those rest stops. splits 8:58, 8:50, 8:48, 8:49, 8:41, 8:38.
