Ran a 5K course marked off in Freeman park for a high school meet last week.  Ran it at an average pace with jtshad (very slow for him) to figure out the course markings and then ran it alone a second time a little faster.  Jeff went his normal fast pace and was just a smoke trail.

The course is fun, almost entirely on grass with a lot of twists and small hills.  My time on the second run was 22:51.  Now I have a time to beat before the markings fade away.

Another beautiful day, possibly the last one for a while if the forecasts hold true.  Ran the standard geenbelt loop at an average pace and then picked it up for the last mile.  This weather is spoiling me, a mild winter is in order this year.

Catch up post.  Ran a mile around Freeman and then tried the 5K course again with confidence that I would make much better time than Tuesday.  I am now convinced that my body only has one speed no matter how much energy I exhert.  I thought I was hitting it hard and felt exhausted at the end.  MY time?  22:47 -  A measly 4 seconds faster than the last time I ran it at what I thought was an easy pace. At least it was a little faster.

Ran to Pancheri on another nice day.  Easy pace and 72 f.
