I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Still recovering from SGM and my disappointing performance, I did 25 min of Bowflex on my upper body today and 15 min on the eliptical. Finished with 200 crunches. |

| legs are still smarting from sat 14 miler, I did 25 min of Bowflex today upper body and then hit the eliptical for 20 min., finished with 200 crunches. I think sat I may try a 3 or 4 miler. |

| Decide to try a small run today, my plan is to build back easy. the calf did good today, legs are still a little whack from sat 14 miler. I went out to GU Corner and back it was a little windy and on the cool side. Just a taste of what is to come for the next 7 months. I did 25 min on the Bowflex upper body and finished with 200 crunches. |

| Today was a good test for my calf it was not an issue so I hope it is on the mend finally after two months. Just another easy short run our to GU Corner and back. Nice day felt good to feel and see the sun. I will try again tomorrow and see how things go. I did 25 min on the Bowflex and finished with 200 crunches. |

| This morn got to help out a Scout on his Eagle Scout Project down at the baseball park painting dugouts. Good turn out lots of help from the ward, I did a run down to the ballpark a 6 plus miler round trip. So I was able to kill to birds with one stone sort of speak. Nice morn morn for a run, fall temps are here and it feels good. The training this week has been ok despite the injuriesIi have had in the past month or so. My calf was not an issue again today so I think I will pronounce myself healed. It has been good to have back to back runs this week even though it is only three days we will try full a full week next week. Have a great weekend . |
