I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Nice run today around the the golf course, I did the extended course today. My legs actually did feel good for a change and they wanted to go good today. So my goal for this sat long run will be a twenty miler. I feel like my training is coming along good. |

| Good workout today, ran out to mini gu corner today and back to the hill in the river bottoms. I did 8 hill repeats, push uphill for about 200 meters at 70 to 80% max HR, then jog back down and repeat. My legs are feeling whack at the moment. I also did 25 min on the bowflex, upper body. |

Nice recoveru run today after yesterdays hill repeats. My legs did feel better today than I thought they would. I want to top out on this weeks mileage around 45 or 46 miles, I am planning on a 20 miler for sat long run. Did not want to over do things and increas miles to much over a weeks time. I did do the bowflex on my lower body also to work on developing greater leg strength. |

| Today I did the old Bishop Storehouse out and back, legs were feeling a little on the whack side. Just a nice easy run and a beautiful afternoon. I will take tomorrow off and get ready for my 20 miler on sat. |

| Nice long run this morning, Not sure I was going to make it out. Kind of have a head cold or allergies, not sure what's going on, just not feeling the greatest. I was able do hang in there though, it's good to do hard things they make you stronger. Been a great week of training, accomlished all my goals for this week. |
