8.5 miles this morning

8.5 miles this evening

Ran the loop up to the water tank and back down through the industrial park both time today. Pushed the pace on both runs from the water tank down. So around 3 miles per run at 10k pace. Legs, lungs, and body feeling good. My mind however is in this endless stressed out, planning/game plan mode. I'm guessing from now until the marathon will be kind of a mental war.

Hope to run a good first half of this week and then see how it goes later on. We are leaving for our fall golf trip to Moab on Thursday. So I'm not sure what kind of miles I'll do in Moab. Saturday morning I may run the Moab half course if I can find it.

9 miles in the morning

5 miles in the evening

Did the morning run and it felt good. Went about my day and after going to the temple my wife wanted to go get some food. So we went to Red Lobster and I went crazy on the rolls that are amazing. After eating I decided that I wasn't going to go for a run tonight.

Then we got home and I paced around thinking about not going out again. It was like not feeding a crying baby, I had to go. So at 9 p.m. I went out and did 5 more.

9.5 miles in the morning

6.5 miles this evening

On the morning run I had a case of the heavy legs. I just never got in rythem. The whole run was hard and sluggish.

Then this evening I was in a different world. After a mile warm up it felt like I was floating. Fast and fun.

I'm not sure why I felt so good tonight but I'll be happy if that same guy shows up on any race day.
