We got home from Vegas last night and I have taken it pretty easy the last week due to being in Vegas and my cold so I decided today to do a fast fartlek. Did 8x800s with 400 jog in between. (Goal was to keep my recovery jog somewhat fast) Splits were 2:56 (1:52 rest) 3:01 (1:43 rest) 2:49 (1:44 rest) 2:48 (1:41 rest) 3:01 (1:45 rest) 3:05 (1:59 rest) 3:10 (2:11 rest) 3:01- then jogged home for a cool down. Did this workout about a month ago and compared splits and I was faster today so I'm feeling good about that... |
