Did 7 outside today. Goal was to run a timed 3 miler at the track without looking at my watch. (I hit my split button each mile-but didn't look) also this run was done with only two short stops. (1 short stop right before and after the 3 miler-less than a minute of time between the two) anyway my splits were 6:18, 6:18 and 6:00. I felt great the whole time... (I listened to my body and felt relaxed-yet pushing) i am happy. I know I have a long way to go but this is a good starting point. Overall average pace for 7 miles 6:55. |
