| Ran outside today... only 34 degrees at 9 am. Anyway, ran out in the hills today.. (part of the half marathon course I did a couple weeks ago) I wasn't planning on tempoing this run-but it kinds of turned into a tempo the last half.. The first couple were a little slow due to the hills, but the last couple miles were 7:11,6:25,6:52,6:57,last .25 in 6:28. Anyway-I felt good so I just went with it.. (Avg pace for entire run was 7:13) |

| Ran outside today.. 1.25 warm up then did 4x4 minutes hard with 1:30 jog in between. First 4 minutes were at 6:01 pace (7:30 pace recovery) 2nd was 6:07 pace (7:14 pace recovery) third was 6:20 pace (7:43 pace recovery) last was 6:20 pace.. (First 3 sets were downhill, last one-flat-rolling hills... Felt good again today, I know my times will start slowing down alot more due to the pregnancy-but for now I am feeling good and relaxed so I will keep it up for a bit.. |

| Ran on the mill today.. Wanted to run outside but hubby had to go to work early today.. Did 8x400m hills today with 400 jog at 7:30 recovery pace in between. I ran each hill on a 4% incline at 6:30 pace... Felt somewhat hard today-but I feel great now that its over. lol |

The mile actually felt the easiest and most relaxed out of all of them.. (weird) Anyway, I am doing a 5k on Saturday so I wanted to do a little speed today-I will probably take it pretty easy the rest of the week. |

| Got up and did the 2nd annual local Turkey Trot.. Was happy to hear there was about 250 runners.. (This is a good turnout in my town) Anyway, my splits were 6:13, 7:07,(big hill on mile 2) 6:25 last .02 in 7 seconds. (I showed the course only being 3.02 not 3.1) Anyway, I felt good about it.. I was probably 12th or 13th overall and the next girl in was about 40-45 seconds behind me. I looked at my results from last year and was about a minute 15 seconds slower this year-but what can I expect at 17 weeks pregnant.. I will take it.. I felt good the whole time-pushing but not too hard, although now I am tired... Won a 75 girftcard to safeway and new shoes so I am happy about that.. My kids liked the little games and face painting afterward and my daughter even did the best gobbler contest.. haha.. Happy Turkey Day next week! |
