I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004. Personal: I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again. |

| We jogged a mile warm-up, then a mile of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then we did 6x1000. I did the first 3 of them in 3:36, 3:39, and 3:41. On the 4th one my knee was hurting and I was tired and so I dropped out at the 400, which was a 1:27. Then my dad talked me into finishing the workout. I did the last 2 in 3:40 and 3:42. Then I had to hurry to the doctor, so I didn't have time for a cooldown. The hardest part of the workout was that it was really windy. I felt okay but I wish I would have done the fourth 1000 and not dropped out. I need to be tougher in my workouts and go into them with a better attitude. |

| AM-This morning we did 2 grass laps for a warm-up. Then we did a mile of speed changes. Then we did 10 hills that were about a 200. Then we did a grass lap for a cooldown. It was 5 miles. The hills felt good but my knee was really stiff. |

| We had a race today. It was on a road for a mile and then it turned onto a trail. I ran more of a tempo run because there wasn't really anyone to push me. It took me 19:12 for 2.8. After I jogged the course backwards and then when we got back to the school I ran 3.5 miles and did 8 strides. |

| AM- This morning we ran from the school to sugar house park, then we did 5 hills and ran back to the school. PM- We jogged 3 laps slow and then did 3 laps of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then we did 5x400, 200. My times were: 400- 1:15 200- 34 400- 1:17 200- 35 400- 1:19 200- 36 400- 1:19 200- 36 400- 1:20 200- 36 Then we jogged a mile cooldown. |

| I went for an easy loosen up run before the race tomorrow. I went for 20 minutes and it was about 2.5 miles. My legs are sore but felt pretty good. I need to take an ice bath tonight. |
