I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004. Personal: I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again. |

AM- Same loop as yesterday, but I did it backwards today. I ran in 40:15 which is slower than yesterday, but doing it backwards made most of the run downhill so I had to hold back to protect my shins.
PM- Did three laps slow, then 2 laps of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then I did 2x800 my times were 2:51 and 2:52. Then we did 2x400 my times were 1:19 and 1:19. Then we did 5x200 and my times were 37, 37, 36, 36, 36. Then we did 5x100. |

| Me and my dad ran a lap around sugar house park, then we ran out on 1700 e. to 1700 s. Then down to 1500 e. and back to the park. When we got back to the park we ran down around Sizzler's and back up to our car which was at Highland. It took us about 38 minutes. |

I ran at Sugar House Park with Greg. I jogged about a mile warm-up, then I did some fartlek. 8 by 1 minute on, one minute off. Then finished the lap for 4 miles.
After I went to the gym and biked for 30 minutes. |

I ran at Sugarhouse park. I did a mile warm-up, then a tempo mile which was probably too slow to count, but I guess it was ok since it was my first time (lots of room for improvement). I ran it in 7:40. Then I did 5 hills and a cooldown.

| 5 miles with Kelsie on pipeline. It felt great...I love running up there. My shins hurt the whole time as usual but other than that I felt good. My legs are starting to feel a little bit tired. |

| Ran at some parks by my house. It was alot of laps and really boring. I did 6.5 miles It took me 57:45. My shin was really hurting, I'm hoping it will get better soon. I got my goal of 30 miles for the week, next week 33. |

| I ran 6 miles with my dad at Jordan River. We ran it in 54:30, so 9:05 pace. My shin hurt but not too bad, I was more focused on pushing. My heart rate was consistently 190 after about 2.5 miles. |

| I went on a run in the neighborhoods by my school. It was 6 miles and it took me 56:17, so not too fast. My average HR was 176. My shin hurt really bad again today and I wanted to stop the entire run, but I finished it anyways. Running uphill hurts alot less then downhill and flat. My quads are sore from hills yesterday, I need to be doing more hills. |

| I ran from Highland and did the cemetary loop. It was 5 miles. It took me 43 minutes so 8:40 pace! The fastest I've went in a while! I started out slow but eventually got faster. My legs were killing me at first but thinking about my form seemed to help and helped me pick it up. When I was going faster it hurt less. Hopefully tomorrow will go even better! |

| This afternoon I went for a run, but I had eaten too close to the run so I only went 2 miles and decided to finish the rest later. I did the first 2 at Sugarhouse park and it took me 17:00. Then at night I went for 4 more miles. It took me 33:12 so 8:18 pace. It felt good and I was able to open up my stride. That's the fastest I've went in a while. My shin hurt but I took ibuprofen which helped and once I opened up my stride it seemed to hurt less also. I have a doctor appointment monday so we'll see what he says about them for that. |

| I went for a 5 mile run with my dad. We ran to iceberg. It took me just over 43 minutes. It was 8:48 pace. I took it nice and easy but my shin hurt alot. I got my mileage for the week! 36, next week. |
