I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004. Personal: I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again. |

| I ran from Sugarhouse park and did a loop up to 1900 e and over to Sunnyside park and then back along 1500 e. It took about 45 minutes and was 5 miles. I felt good and my leg only hurt when I was running downhill. |

| I ran out 30 minutes from fairmont park and then back. I came back 3 minutes faster than I went out. I did some fartlek on the way back. My leg was hurting but not too bad. It was 6 miles. I was really tired though because I came to XC practice straight from working a graveyard shift. |

| We did a 3 mile warm-up, then some stretching. Then we did 5 hills at cottonwood complex. Each one was about 250 meters. After the hills we did a cooldown. I felt really good and was able to push pretty hard. |

| Today was free slurpee day so for xc practice we did a run that ran past 7 different 7-11's and we had to stop and drink a free slurpee at each one. It was a really fun run but by the end I felt pretty sick from all the slurpee's. |

| Today I was feeling good so I did a warm-up on the grass at the track and then 10 barefoot strides on the football field. I felt really good but after the strides when I put my shoes back on my leg was hurting so I stopped I don't know if my leg is ready for strides yet. |

| I did a lap around the block that was 2 miles then a lap at Sunnyside park and a lap in the gully. My leg didn't hurt till about 2.5 miles in. Other than that I felt good about the run. It was really hot outside though. |

Today I didn't run but the xc team went on a 4 hour hike. It was really fun and we got lots of beautiful pictures. |

| Ran a 5k with my 8 year old brothers so it was slow, and I accidentally wore my 14 year old brothers shoes which were too small and didn't have orthotics so my leg hurt pretty bad. |

| I ran from the track to liberty park and did 1 lap around and then ran back to the track. I felt good. My leg didn't hurt till about 2 miles in. |

| I ran on shoreline trail today from the zoo to red butte and back. It took me 42:35. It felt really good. I felt strong and was able to push up the hills pretty well. |

| We ran from Sunnyside park up to Wasatch and then across wasatch to the drinking fountain right by the entrance to the freeway. Then we went back along foothill to 1700 s. and down 1700 s to 1900 e. and back to the park. I felt really good. By the end my legs were very tired so I took an icebath when I got done. |

| We ran up on pipeline trail this morning. We went out just over 2 miles and then back. My legs were very tired from yesterday, they just felt heavy and hard to pick up. My shin didn't hurt too much, no more than normal. After the run I sat in the river for 12 minutes...it was freezing!! |
