We jogged a mile warm-up, then a mile of speed changes and 1 lap slow. Then we did 6x1000. I did the first 3 of them in 3:36, 3:39, and 3:41. On the 4th one my knee was hurting and I was tired and so I dropped out at the 400, which was a 1:27. Then my dad talked me into finishing the workout. I did the last 2 in 3:40 and 3:42. Then I had to hurry to the doctor, so I didn't have time for a cooldown. The hardest part of the workout was that it was really windy. I felt okay but I wish I would have done the fourth 1000 and not dropped out. I need to be tougher in my workouts and go into them with a better attitude. |
