On my treadmill, I walked 2.25 miles at a moderate incline as a warm-up, then I jogged 4 miles at a rate of 4.8 to 6.0, then I walked 0.75 miles as a cool-down. During the last mile of my 4 mile jog, my legs didn't feel very good, as my front left lower shin had some moderate pain/discomfort, and in general my legs experienced some moderate discomfort (probably from a seven day layoff). Total distance was 7 miles, and the treadmill said that I burned 990 calories.
