Nice easy run today. My pace was a 7:25 pace with 1.0 miles at 0.5 incline, 5.00 miles at 1.0 incline and 1.0 miles at 1.5 incline. I felt really good overall, just getting use to my new MP3 player. My new headphones kept falling out of my ear so i had to stop and get another pair to use. Not much planed for today, work and home. My mom and I did go to the movie yesterday and watch "Slumdog Millionaire." This was a good movie, but different. Anyway, time for a nap so have a great day!! :)

Thanks, i do have something i need to tell you. I was talking to my message therapist about shin splints and he suggested to me, something i think might help you. He told me to pick a sock up with my toes at least 15 per foot three times. I have not done this but i think you should try this and see if it helps.

Also, please let me know if it works.

Barry - yes I heard about the picking up a sock/towel and I do it while I'm at my desk, thanks for the reminder though! I think that between all your tips and exercises, and running with shorter strides/landing more on the ball of the foot instead of the heel, the shin problem is under control. Now i'm dealing with something new but it's not serious and hopefully I'll be back to running strong soon. I'm glad you're doing well! Keep up the good work!
