Ran four miles at a 7:14 pace in the rain, I hate running
in the rain. For some reason I did not realize that my race was next weekend. I
was thinking it was still three weeks away. So my plan now is to run 30 this
week and then 15 up to my race. Anyway, not much planned for today, work and
rest. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Man you run early in the morning (night). I get up pretty early and your run is finished and logged by 5:30!! You are a crazy dude!!!
As for your mileage....most of the stuff I have read says cut to 80% 2 weeks before and 65% the week before. You don't want to get stale.
Just taper and enjoy the runs. You will smoke them at Ogden 1/2! Same with Bill. You don't want to overtaper because then you risk losing the fitness you acquire from all the great training.

Thanks for the advice. Kory sent me an article about cutting my mileage and i tried it before my last race in Salt Lake and i really enjoyed it. Here is the article http://adrianmarriott.blogspot.com/2008/03/marathon-taper-checklist.html that he sent. I just modified it from three weeks to two weeks before my race in Ogden.
