AM: Just an easy 3 mile jog with the team to lossen up for our first cross country meet of the season! :)

PM: We did a 2 mile warm up then headed for the starting line. I was racked with mixed emotions of will i do well and how bad its going to hurt. But in the end it all was good. The gun went off and me trev corey and ben went to the front. I led the pack for the first mile and  a quarter. Then Corey came in and took off in front of me. Trevor droped back eairlier so it was just me and ben. I came around the last turn to head to the track and just let it all out! :) I ended up taking second to corey and in front of ben. Our boys killed at this meet with 21 points. :)

HURRICANE INVITATIONAL! :) This is my favorite race of the whole year, and thus far in my career as a high school runner. We started out with a 2 mile warm up. During the warm up i was thinking of all the things that i need to acomplish during the race. When we got to the line i was perfectly ready. I wasnt even as nervous as the canyon view meet. When i started i took off with Hayden Karl and a cedar kid. But at the top of the hill decided not to chase them. My first mile was a bit to fast. 5:03 But the rest of the race i did really well. I shook a cedar kid off my back and brought up Corey and Trev to pack together. The last sprint was so much fun. I ran basically exactly what i wanted to. And corey and trevor were just a few seconds behind me, making it possible for us to win the meet. So we won the meet thanks to our great coach and all that he has us do.  2-0 baby!!
