This rae was one of the funest races i have raced. My first 10K. Woo! :) Me and my Dad got the the meeting place to ride the buses up at about 7:30. Then we just chilled for a while till the buses started taking people up. Me and The "Wild Bull" did a warm up and found the rest of the club guys and stretched. When the gun went off i went out with coach and then shortly realized that i was going a little fast so i held back. The rest of the race was chill.. . . . Painfull but chill. I started to get shin splints (Probibly from brand new shoes) at about 3 but i pushed through them. The last .3 was way fun! I worked on my kick and actually passed a guy that was about 50 meeters ahead. Hecka tight race!!! Im looking forward to running more. :)

Great race today Austin! Thanks for coming back with dave to run with me for a bit. I am sure it was a nice easy, very slow cool down for you! You are doing awesome this year. Keep it up!

Great job Austin. Be careful warming up with a wild bull...you never know what's going to happen! Glad you got a good taste for racing.

Good job on the race. And like Mik'L said be careful around the wildbull.
