Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

PM - Horsepark loop with Jake, 5 miles at 8:10 pace. Got back from China at 3pm and needed some fresh air. Very happy to be back.

PM - 3 miles on the Behind the Reef dirt road. Got out early from work (slight payback for having to go to China) and headed down to the Swell for some desert camping.

AM - Canyoneering "Stairway to Heaven". This slot canyon was really cool - several repels, down climbs, narrow walls...Jake and I decided that we are going to get training so we can do these on our own! This trip also opened us up to a totally new area that we need to go back and explore more. 

PM - 6 miles on the Temple Mountain Road, 8:40 pace.
