Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

PM1 - Jake and I mountain biked the Armstrong Spiro Loop Trail in Park City, 10.5 miles. I really enjoyed the 1500ft gradual climb uphill but the downhill trail had turned into quite a washboard. Not a great day to forget gloves - we had to ice our hands by the end b/c they hurt so much! The fall colors are very pretty :)

PM2 - Ran 3 miles on the Wasatch Crest Trail on the way home, 10min pace. We were not moving fast but had a nice run.

I'm really happy with the past week of running - 41 miles and several fun longer trail runs. We are headed to Dead Horse State Park this weekend, so I'm planning to do short easy runs throughout the week and then hopefully get in some trail running over the weekend before another trip to China.

AM - Horsepark loop with Jake, 4.6 miles at 8:30 pace. First run in the dark for a long time!

PM - Only had time for 1 mile in an attempt to justify my later huge fancy dinner at Log Haven.

One of the best days of my life :) 

AM - After the big moment, Jake and I went on an awesome loop run in Dead Horse State Park, 11 miles at 8:40 pace. So fun!

PM - Short mountain bike ride to the visitors center to walk around and get ice cream.
