Quality for the Olympic Trials in the marathon Personal: I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.
I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)
I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

| | PM - Jake convinced me to run a tempo loop mile hard so we warmed up a couple miles then I ran 5:56 for the mile. Not too shabby! Short cooldown for 4.1 miles total.

| | PM - 10 miles on the Pipeline Trail in Millcreek with Jake, 8:35 pace.
Today is my 1-Year Surgiversary (surgery anniversary). It's amazing what a difference a year can make to health, both mentally and physically. I can confidently say that I'm in a much better place on both accounts.

| | AM - Jeremy Ranch Road long run with the Alta HS girls, 12 miles at 8:25 pace. I was really impressed with how well those girls ran up there - I may have to run with them regularly! This was my longest run since August 4, 2012 :)
