Quality for the Olympic Trials in the marathon Personal: I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.
I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)
I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

| | The run-ski-bike triple! My kind of day!
AM - Tempo loop with Jake, 4 miles.
PM1 - One lap ski tour with Jake up to Flagstaff Mountain. The snow was unconsolidated and unsupportable making it tough to skin. Always good to spend some time in the mountains though!
PM2 - Rode alongside Jake on the bike for his run for 7 miles.

| | AM - Strength training for 40 minutes.
PM - Horsepark loops, 6.2 miles at 8:15 pace. A rare day when I ran by myself and was thinking how lucky I am to have Jake, Devra, and a couple coworkers to do almost all of my runs with :)

| | PM - Ski tour w/ Jake: Patsy, Twin Lakes Pass, Grizzly... 4 laps [3800']. GREAT snow! Thought it would be dense and creamy but it was light and graupely and the turns were sublime. |

| | AM/PM - Ski tour w/ Jake. Alta to Cardiff Peak - started w/ a North facing shot down Power Outage, over to Cardiac Ridge for some unbelievable East facing lines (x2), then once the sun started to come out we traversed over to Cardiac Bowl and lapped that for a while because it was amazing (x4) and then finished on the way out with a short NE run off Powerline and then the S side finisher from Cardiff Pass back to where we started. No words to describe how fun this was. All powder, all day |
