Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

Beat my time by 2:30 from last year. I'm in the lead with still two more days of individual time trials (people get really competitive, especially the guys!) but most of the faster ones have already gone. It would make me pretty happy to put all their egos in check :) Regardless, I felt very strong structurally with no pain and was able to get in a hard workout.

Wow 12:02! Talk about racing faster than training :-)

Things are lining up for 6 straight titles! I am really looking forward to when you win this for the 10th straight year in 2020... BD better give you a $10,000 bonus for that!

I actually ran 5:52 pace but it took like 20 seconds for the silly treadmill to get up to speed!

Dang I'm impressed. Based on this sample size of one, I might be able to run a 5K PR the day after ski season ends. You too maybe! :-)

Be sure to post the final results and whether the guys act weird around you after you've proven to be physically superior. I know personally I'd definitely ignore you and pretend I didn't see you if I was in their shoes.
