Well, it's the first day of March and therefore my Utah Valley Half Marathon training schedule begins - not quite sure how I feel about it.

Ran 4 miles on the treadmill today:

#1 = 10:56

#2 = 10:00

#3 = 9:55

#4 = 10:52

Felt good the entire time, but did push myself a bit harder than normal.

Ran 3.5 miles on the treadmill and then walked .5 to cool down.

mile #3 = 10:16

Was surprised at how good I felt today.  Had to jump off  few times to help the kiddos, but all in all it was good.

Really had to dig deep and find some motivation, or maybe it was just knowing how guilty I would feel later on today - isn't guilt a wonderful thing?

warm up mile #1 = 10:56

mile #2 = 10:09

mile #3 = 10:00

cool down mile #4 = 10:14 (not much of a cool down/easy mile, but my kids were NOT cooperating and I had to go take care of things, which meant running faster than I wanted to at that point)

Planning on 6 miles Saturday.

Met the ladies at 6:30 and ran the first 4.25 with them.  Tried to talk any of them into adding on with me, but no takers. :(   Added on to make it a total of 6 miles!  End of my first week of official training for the half in June and it feels great.

My husband had jury duty today, so I got to go running with Jodi and Lauri!  Went 3.5, but felt kind of sluggish - ate terrible last night.

Met Jodi and headed out.  Decided to go backwards on our loop, which was a nice change.  I was thrilled when she said she would add on the last 2 miles with me.  The conversation made the miles go by much faster.  Felt great - came home and my husband had taken the kids for doughnuts, so I had to eat one - yummy!

Wore my new shoes and felt pretty good.  Did some quick toning afterwards.  

Also, today is day #1 of eating healthy - wish me luck!!

Really, Really didn't want to run today.

4 miles on the treadmill:

#1 = 10:55

#2 = 10:00

#3 = 10:00

#4 = 11:35

So glad to be done!  Judging a dance competition this weekend, so no more running for me.

Really pushed on the 3rd mile and completed it in 9:48, which I counted as a fast mile.  Felt great the entire time.

Ballet for an hour before, so took it easy.  Plan on doing 7 on Saturday

It was freezing this morning. :(    Met Laurie and headed out.  Planned on her running with me for the first 4.5 and then adding on to reach 7.  I was thrilled when she said she would add on a little with me.  We finished in 1 hour 13 minutes - not too bad considering we had to stop for several traffic lights.  My legs are TIRED!
