| | It was a good push, kinda long. I was really exhausted and my legs were really tired but I stuck with the girls and the pick ups felt pretty nice. Feeling great and glad to be running with the team again!

| | Today was great. I fianally am feeling in shape and strong again. Me, Ellie, Caroline, Josie, and Maycee met at the bluff street church and ran up to chuckawalla. Josie and Caroline turned early cause their knees were hurting. The rest of us made a loop and enjoyed running. I felt wonderful and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to run in such a beautiful place. Running is my most favorite thing ever. This season no matter what I'm going to love running and be happy no matter what even if we are running hills, doing tough workouts, anything really. | | Today was great!!! We had a long run into green springs. Fianally we have a team again. The pickup's felt wonderful and they got my legs moving for the rest of the run. It wasn't even too hot today :) it was the best long run I have had all season. | | Today was great! My legs were feeling exhausted from yeterdays long run but as roberts would say that they are telling us that they are getting stronger :) we had half on the grass and half on the road with striders. We had a big pack and it was a really fun run.
Also, today was the kids club race. I love these days the kids are all so cute and give it their all. I ran like all the races a couple times cause I love being able to help push the kids. They make me so happy and I love being able to help them. Running is the best!

| | Today was wonderful! I have never felt so good. We had the most awesome pack and we all stayed together. We all finished the 25 minutes together and I can tell that we do so much better when we run together. It was the best run i have had in a long time and even though my legs were tired I was still able to push and finish strong. | | TODAY WAS MY LONGEST RUN EVER!!!! I went with my dad and scott at 5 cause I have drivers ed this week. We were crusing! But is was good. We ran back and went with my mom and Selma to get some more minutes. My dad did 1, 1, 2, 1, 2 pickups ups with me. We finished by doing Atkins loop and running home. It was a wonderful run although it was a little faster than usual :) we averaged a 8:30 pace and went two minutes over but it was overall a great run! Hurricane 5k (3.1 Miles) 00:20:16 | | Went out to hurricane to run. Me Caroline and Rylee were all together for a while. Caroline took off and rylee was struggling. I was kinda the middle man not really knowing what to do so I stayed where I was. What I should've done was gone and got with Caroline while she was still close. I was trying to stay calm and keep pushing but I majorly slowed down the second half. It wasn't too bad of a first race and I know what some of my weaknesses are. And I have a whole season to master them. |

Time Trial #1 (2 Miles) 00:13:25, Place overall: 7 | | Today was our first time trial of the season. We did a little tempo before and that felt pretty nice. I felt really good the first lap and I as right with the team. The second lap I kinda just fell off. I kept fighting trying to stick with Jessica (who had an amazing race) I just wasn't in it mentally. I am going to learn from this race and be prepared for future races. 55 minutes | |

| | Man today was wonderful! We had a hill workout. 2x3 80 second hills. I decided that whatever i would do i would stay with the pack. I did. I would get tired but i would keep going to stay with the team. It was a very strong tough hill but i did it and i pushed my hardest. I am ready for a season with this team. We are strong and ready for an outstanding season.

| | So today we were up in Beaver at a family reunion. Me and my mom went running it was rough...it was very hilly and I was dying. I was thinking to flip at 30 cause it was all downhill but my mom wanted to keep going so I went a little bit too far. It is beautiful to run in the mountains. Although the altitude still got me breathing hard :) there was a 93k going on and we got to see some of those runners. We stopped at an aid station to talk to them about the race and there was a guy named Walter brown I think who knows coach holt. I'm supposed to say hi (he was the old herriman coach) it was a hard run but totally worth it. 63 minutes |

RACE!!! The race was pretty great! I started out strong and was with the top girls for the first lap. I kinda let go on the second and that was a terrible decision. The second time going up the hill I told myself that I was going to run strong for my team and push my hardest. I gave it my all the last little bit and came in 5th on our team. It wasnt a very good race in the sence that we had no pack whatsoever...but it was the first race of the season and we are still learning. I was very happy with how I was able to finish strong and I am ready to be up pushing with our panther pack. 45 minutes

| | Ran up Pine Valley. Best run, time, experience ever. I loved the beautiful scenery and spending time running and a little walking :) with such a supportive team. About 2 miles in I ate a goo thing and it made me feel very sick...so I wasnt feeling all that great. Once we got to the top I felt so accomplished and I know that with my team we can push and do hard things together. Without them I would not be where I am today. I would never have made it up the mountain to see such a rewarding view. I love running and I am ready for an amazing season with the best team in the world.

Afternoon workout at Bloomington Hills (2000, 1600, 1200, 800) First two were simply wonderful. I was able to lead and push the whole time!!! I was in it ready to push with the team. I was glad that I was able to help our team have success. The last two I think that I lost focus and wasn't really in it. I was letting some "pain" that i was thinking i was having get to my brain. I did get a little tingely and that kinda freaked me out... overall a very positive workout for me.

Desert Relays race. I was pretty happy with the results :) i was 2nd/3rd on the team. It was a very good push. I wish that when I was feeling good I would've pushed up to catch some of the leading girls. Overall a great race for pine view! Both Girls and Guys winning!!!

Afternoon workout-1200,400,400,600 @ 3k pace. Man it was rough. I still wasnt feeling very good. However, I made it my goal that I wouldn't quit i would push the whole time. The 1200 was hard...but I hit my time even though I wasnt nessisarily in the pack. The 400's were a little better and the gap was a lot smaller. And again I hit my times. Although I was a little frustrated because I wasn't in the pack I still was alright because my times were very good. My 600 was a great end to a very hard workout. I focused on picking up my feet and driving. Thank you coach holt for helping me focus and helping me stay relaxed. I really wouldve died without you. Also coach roberts thanks for helping me see the positive side of a workout I was a little disapointed with (at the time). And the last shout out to a great team who cheered me on even when I was not up pushing with them. They truly help me in every way. Running is the greatest!!!

Our team had a great race even though our pack wasnt super tight it was much better than previous times! I really felt not too bad. I am ready to push the pace with the top girls and help my team become our best. Overall a very amazing race! Good start to the season!

Had a wonderful time talking to swagjessica on the way back as her knee was hurting. Glad to have her on the team she is one awesome girl! Hill workout was very strong compared to the rest of the run. It was nice to pick the legs up and get moving. I only did 8 cause I just wasn't feeling all that great but the 8 I did were grand. :) at least I thought so!

Afternoon-Workout 5x1000 at bloomington hills park. Man today was a battle. The first one was alright. We started out a little slow so our overall time was quite a bit slower than it was supposed to be but i was in the pack. So that was a plus. The second one I kinda fell off. Then the third one was even worse. I was still in a good range of hitting my times but I was just very much so out of the pack. The fourth one was much better and I was closer to my times. I was debating between doing the last one or not (it was optional) but I decided that I was getting better times so I might as well push through the pain and finish a workout that is gonna make me stronger. I am so glad that i did the last one. I hit my time and it was the best one out of them all! I was glad to push hard at the end. I know that it will very much so help me in races. I might've not really been with the pack today but it was a very successful workout for me personally. I love running and pushing hard.

Afternoon workout. Dirt Mile Tempo 15-20 min. I don't really know where to start. Today was not the greatest or the worst. I was feeling pretty confident and sure going into it. I was in there for the first lap very strong. The second mile came and we were supposed to pick the pace up again. I just totally lost confidence and died. I was trying to push to 15 and i just kept slowing down. I stopped and regrouped with Brianna at 15 and then cut across the field to finish with the team. I wish that i stayed in there i am sorry for not pushing with the team. I am gonna make sure to be more mentally prepared for future workouts and races. I know that I can run with the team and by running with them I will become stronger!

| | Morning practice with weights. Felt alright. It was a beautiful morning with beautiful weather. Afternoon workout at Bloomington Hills Park. 4x1200 at 5k pace. There was a group of 6 of us and sometimes Ryan and coach. The first one was alright I was on my time but not with the pack. The second one was still fine but I just couldn't get up and move. I was struggling to get my legs moving. The third one was terrible. I literally was jogging it felt like. The last one was much better...i finished a lot stronger than the other two so that's positive. Wish I was up helping the pack. I know I can do it I just havent done it yet. Tbh I was really nervous going into it but I knew that I would stay in the pack no matter what! and I did so i was pretty happy. On my run with my dad he got after me to hold my shoulders back so I was trying to do that and i think that helped as well. Very positive run for me! Glad to be back loving running even more! oh and the tempos felt wonderful.

| | Morning run with Brianna and Maycee. It was a nice morning and I was glad to get put on a run. 20 minutes Race up at Nebo. It was very cold...i didn't feel very good and I ran a not very good race. I couldn't keep on going once I started. It just got worse and worse. The first lap my quad was hurting really bad and then the second lap it just started burning. I have never felt that before and it was really wierd. I am gonna try to stay positive and get some more good races before the season ends. I know I can and will keep working hard to get to where I want to be. 65 minutes |

| | Man this morning was GRAND!!! we had a long run with a 10 minute tempo(20 sec slower than 5k) and then a mile tempo(10 sec slower than 5k). I don't know if ive ever felt better. I was totally in the groove. I felt wonderful and was able to push with the pack and lead a bit. It felt wonderful and it was great! Best run in a long while :) 70 min

Afternoon Workout 4x1200m. @ bloomington hills park. Man today was rough. The first one was wonderful. I was right on pace and with the pack. The second one was a little more rough but i was still in the time range. the third one was not very good at all. i dont even really know what happened. my legs had no drive and i was stuggling just keeping moving. the third one was kinda the same and not very good. i think that i am getting better at staying strong and positive with myself. its not like the whole workout was terrible only the second half. so i just need to keep working at it and i know that soon enough my whole workout will be much better. 65 minutes

3A State Championship (3 Miles) 00:20:23, Place overall: 35, Place in age division: 7 | | wow...i dont even know where to start. state was truly incredible. everything was amazing. from olive garden dinner (in our smelly running clothes) to ice baths (with a screaming jace and jess) to laughing and talking to pushing with my best friends in the whole entire world to winning the state title and so much more. it truly was one of the best days of my life. i felt great racing. i was with the team for a lot longer than usual so i am happy about that. my teammates are my biggest role models and they make me so happy. s/o to ry and jess for breaking the school record. you guys are beasts. awe i love running it is the ultimate sport and i would never trade it for anything in the world.

| | NO SCHOOL!!! so we had a workout at 8. we did 4x1200 at 6ish min pace. my first one was good not great but good. 2nd and 3rd were rough but I was still hitting a very reasonable time for my recent races. i was also trying to work on my form and get my shoulders back. last one was great. allip helped me get back in it and we totally worked together. it was awesome! best one out of the whole set. pretty impressed that i had a pretty successful workout even with very extremely tired legs...love running!
