I'm a graduate from Pine View, where I was a member of the XC and Track and Field teams.  I loved being a Panther.  I am currently up at USU, graduating in Psychology in the Spring. Not sure what I'll do after graduation...I love spending time outside-hiking, camping, and running.  I love the simple things that make life wonderful :)

Had our first speed workout of the year.  It was rough and i didn't really stick in it like i wanted to.  I wasn't really mentally in it and i just died...i will be ready for the next one! 

Went to XC camp in cedar.  It was awesome!  died the first day!

Still at High altitude Camp.  Ran a 45 minute run.  We ran down this HUGE hill and it just so happened that we got to run up it.  I completely died but it was a very accomplishing run.  

We went to Navajo Lake for Pictures and a run.  It was perfect! The lake felt wonderful after our run!

Had our long run today. It was by far my most favorite run.  We were on a little single file trail and it was through the forest.  I felt so good and it was beautiful!  We had a nice big pack of girls too.  So that is always fun!

Afternoon just back at camp.  Ran together with everyone.  We took it nice and chill to be ready for our hill workout tomorrow!

Man today was wonderful!  We had a hill workout.  2x3 80 second hills.  I decided that whatever i would do i would stay with the pack.  I did.  I would get tired but i would keep going to stay with the team.  It was a very strong tough hill but i did it and i pushed my hardest.  I am ready for a season with this team.  We are strong and ready for an outstanding season.

So today we were up in Beaver at a family reunion. Me and my mom went running it was rough...it was very hilly and I was dying. I was thinking to flip at 30 cause it was all downhill but my mom wanted to keep going so I went a little bit too far. It is beautiful to run in the mountains. Although the altitude still got me breathing hard :) there was a 93k going on and we got to see some of those runners. We stopped at an aid station to talk to them about the race and there was a guy named Walter brown I think who knows coach holt. I'm supposed to say hi (he was the old herriman coach) it was a hard run but totally worth it.

Well, today was not my day. From the very beginning I was just dead

My legs were tired and sore. I did the pickup's and they wore me out. By the end I got thinking about everyone else and how I was sure they were really tired too. Last week really wore us out. So that helped me get with the girls and finish stronger than I was running

Really excited for cedar tomorrow!!!!!!!! It it gonna be grand!

Morning-30 minutes w/ striders nice easy morning!

RACE!!!  The race was pretty great!  I started out strong and was with the top girls for the first lap.  I kinda let go on the second and that was a terrible decision.  The second time going up the hill I told myself that I was going to run strong for my team and push my hardest.  I gave it my all the last little bit and came in 5th on our team.  It wasnt a very good race in the sence that we had no pack whatsoever...but it was the first race of the season and we are still learning.  I was very happy with how I was able to finish strong and I am ready to be up pushing with our panther pack. 45 minutes

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!  We had a hill workout.  It was so great!  I was up pushing the whole time!  We had a very solid pack and we were just like a fist.  It was a very strong hard workout.

Ran up Pine Valley.  Best run, time, experience ever.  I loved the beautiful scenery and spending time running and a little walking :) with such a supportive team.  About 2 miles in I ate a goo thing and it made me feel very sick...so I wasnt feeling all that great.  Once we got to the top I felt so accomplished and I know that with my team we can push and do hard things together.  Without them I would not be where I am today.  I would never have made it up the mountain to see such a rewarding view.  I love running and I am ready for an amazing season with the best team in the world.

Morning 20.  Feeling pretty good.  Good shakeout for the workout this afternoon.  

Afternoon workout at Bloomington Hills (2000, 1600, 1200, 800) First two were simply wonderful.  I was able to lead and push the whole time!!!  I was in it ready to push with the team.  I was glad that I was able to help our team have success.  The last two I think that I lost focus and wasn't really in it.  I was letting some "pain" that i was thinking i was having get to my brain.  I did get a little tingely and that kinda freaked me out... overall a very positive workout for me.

Desert Relays race.  I was pretty happy with the results :) i was 2nd/3rd on the team.  It was a very good push.  I wish that when I was feeling good  I would've pushed up to catch some of the leading girls.  Overall a great race for pine view!  Both Girls and Guys winning!!!

Im not really sure how many minutes or miles we ran... i was not feeling good today at all.  My legs were dragging and i was not feeling very good.  My stomach was bugging me and i had a headache.  It was like everything was just killing me today.  Im gonna go to bed and roll and stretch to be ready for tomorrow.

Morning 20 minutes Feeling alright.  My stomach was still just aching.  It was a very nice shake out run of my legs.  Feeling much better after.  2.5ish miles

Afternoon workout-1200,400,400,600 @ 3k pace.  Man it was rough.  I still wasnt feeling very good.  However, I made it my goal that I wouldn't quit i would push the whole time.  The 1200 was hard...but I hit my time even though I wasnt nessisarily in the pack.  The 400's were a little better and the gap was a lot smaller.  And again I hit my times.  Although I was a little frustrated because I wasn't in the pack I still was alright because my times were very good. My 600 was a great end to a very hard workout. I focused on picking up my feet and driving.  Thank you coach holt for helping me focus and helping me stay relaxed.  I really wouldve died without you.  Also coach roberts thanks for helping me see the positive side of a workout I was a little disapointed with (at the time).  And the last shout out to a great team who cheered me on even when I was not up pushing with them.  They truly help me in every way.  Running is the greatest!!!

Afternoon-Reverse Fire Station.  Lightning struck so we had to wait around in a gas station.  We didn't get to do striders cause lighting struck again...feeling much better!

SUU invite was AWESOME!  I was feeling pretty great and I am very happy with how it turned out.  Our team had a great race even though our pack wasnt super tight it was much better than previous times!   I really felt not too bad.  I am ready to push the pace with the top girls and help my team become our best.  Overall a very amazing race!  Good start to the season!

Morning long run.  Felt alright.  Just kinda tired.  It was a very great run we were singing and laughing and having a great time.  Had a wonderful time talking to swagjessica on the way back as her knee was hurting.  Glad to have her on the team she is one awesome girl!  Hill workout was very strong compared to the rest of the run.  It was nice to pick the legs up and get moving.  I only did 8 cause I just wasn't feeling all that great but the 8 I did were grand.  :) at least I thought so!  

Afternoon was wonderful.  Coach Holt talked to us and it was awesome.  I love learning from our coaches they are some of the smartest people I know.  So thanks for all you do.  The run was great we had an awesome pack and it was a very solid day.  I had a very strenuous headache that was killin me.  But it was much better when we were running.  Loving running!

Just a mid-distance run.  I was DYING!!!  literally i had no drive to run.  My legs were dead and my calves were on fire.  It was very hot but an alright run.  we had a scarce group towards the end so I was glad to stick in there even though I thought I was gonna die...

Morning Easy with plyos.  Felt much better than yesterday afternoon.  Love running with the team!

Afternoon-Workout 5x1000 at bloomington hills park. Man today was a battle.  The first one was alright.  We started out a little slow so our overall time was quite a bit slower than it was supposed to be but i was in the pack.  So that was a plus.  The second one I kinda fell off.  Then the third one was even worse.  I was still in a good range of hitting my times but I was just very much so out of the pack.  The fourth one was much better and I was closer to my times.  I was debating between doing the last one or not (it was optional) but I decided that I was getting better times so I might as well push through the pain and finish a workout that is gonna make me stronger.  I am so glad that i did the last one.  I hit my time and it was the best one out of them all!  I was glad to push hard at the end.  I know that it will very much so help me in races.  I might've not really been with the pack today but it was a very successful workout for me personally.  I love running and pushing hard.
