Running Accomplishments:

2nd Year of XC (Senior Year). My best races thus far have come from Nike Regionals down in Pheonix (5K), the Dixie Invitational (800), and the Davis Invitational (1600). I took 8th place in the 1600 and 11th in the 800 at 3A State. Also at state we were in the slower heat of the Sprint Medley and ended up taking 3rd overall, that was pretty legit.

Best 1600: 4:24

Half Marathon: 1:16.31

Sub 4:20 in the 1600

4:15 in the 1600

Sub 9:50 in the 3200

9:30 in the 3200

PR in the 800

Long-Term Running Goals:

After high school and my mission I think that it would be really cool to get into the St. George Marathon. That is one thing I would like to accomplish in my lifetime. Hopefully I will be able to do multiple. In all I would just like to enjoy the time I run and have some fun experiences with it.

Today we had 3 miles with striders the turf was freezing but we lived! After school we had 4X1000 and I was supposed to hit 3:11 and I the first was a 3:13, second was a 3:12 and my third was a 3:06 and the fourth was a 3:10 I think. It was a good workout and I felt pretty good about it, I need to hit my times from the start though. I know I can do it!

Easy three miles in the morning as usual. The afternoon was a 20 minute tempo at AT pace during an 8 miler. I ran almost all of the tempo by myself. Not sure on my time because the pace said I was going 5:36ish to 5:37ish but then the lap time was like 5:55. I was super confused, I was using Paul's watch so I wasn't familiar with it. It felt faster than 5:55 though. It was a good run though!

Same ol' three miler in the morning. For the afternoon we had 6X400. My time that I was aiming for was a 1:04. My times were 1:05, 1:05, 1:03, 1:04, 1:05, 1:05. I felt pretty good about it and it felt pretty good. Lifting was super good too, feeling good for the meet this weekend.

Usual morning run with some 4X200 afterwards. It was good! Had some crap at the college so ran later with Mia and some of the boys, it was a good run and a nice pace!

Same 3 miler in the morning. After school had to do some freakin' college garbage again... Went out with Matthew right after school and we did our 8 firestation hills together. Not to bad, felt pretty good actually. Besides the college it was a good day!

Went out with Byron, David and Matthew up on the turtle trail. It was fun and I was feeling pretty good after the first mile. Good to talk to the guys about anything and everything.. Hehe (; Anywho.. Byron and I stuck together on the two mile hard finish we were flying and it felt pretty dang good! Good day to be a runner
