Nice 3 in the morning. Little cooler, legs a little tight. Afternoon we ran down to the bottom of where we begin our Old Man Hills. My legs were feeling super heavy on the way there but didn't bother me during the workout. My 800 was a 2:37, kept a good pace but started falling back a little towards the end.. Just gotta get used to that 800 hill pace. My first 400 was a 1:07, fastest on the hill so far this season. My second 400 was a 1:12, just needed to push a little harder at the end but it was good. Next was the 200's. My first was :33, second was a :37, third was a :34 and fourth and final one was a :33. Felt pretty good afterwards although my legs were tired and caused a slower run back to the high school. Need some good food and some good rest to recover but the overall day was a success. |
