Had a good race at Region.  My coach put me in the race so I could pace Jamison and try to get him qualified for state by placing top four.  The race started out with Thomas Heaps of Lehi cruising out running around a 66-67 first lap i think.  I came through with Jamison at 70.  We just hung around with the main group and let Thomas run himself out.  Then we had a big group that my coach told me to keep Jamison and I right at the back of the back or maybe a second off the group.  I did that.  It was like that until we caught Thomas then sadly he started fading away.  We kept with the top group until 800 left then Ryan told me to start going and told me to get to the front and try to slow down the front group cuz Jamison was fading.  I did that but they all just went right around me so it was little use.  At 400 left my coaches told me the same thing but there was me in the front sean hagert from lehi and someone else pushing up for first but my coaches said at no cost to lose the lead right now so I had to speed up with them.  My coaches then saw that Jamison wouldn't qualify at the 200 mark so they told me that I needed to go win our team some points and get first.  Then I kicked a little bit and won it even though I wanted to drop out to let another person go to state.  I'm so so so so so sorry Westlake dude that got fifth but my coaches said I needed to get all those points even though I wanted to drop out.  So please don't hate me for that because I had to follow my coaches.

After we did a cool down with AF dudes that ran the 2 mile.  We talked and ran through a muddy field.  Then jumped a short concrete wall but Hagen Harmer hit his shin and it started bleeding so that was sad.  But overall it was a good day except kicking someone out of a spot at state and I feel so bad for that. ;(
