6 painful miles. I ran out of candy (Ibprofen)    I was reading in my latest RW magazine an article that stated that I would have to run 58 minutes to burn off 2 slices of Pizza from Pizza Hut.  If this is the case, on Pizza all you can eat Wednesday I usually have 5 plates, piled 4 to 5 high.  20 slices of pizza = 9.66  hours of running.  Houston we have a problem! I Ran the spectrum 10 k today.  Nice race. Nice awards.   Must of been about 600 people there.     I was feeling pretty good the first 4 miles.    My legs began to tire a little and i almost fell down.     so what else is new!     Happy with the time for now.  need to work on a little more power (speed work to run a litttle more cosistant from mile to mile.

new course this year.  ran down the paved road for about 3/4 of mile then hit the trail.  I was glad i was up front because the crowd behind had a big time bottle neck here.   the course went up the canyon for about 3/4 of a mile.  then we turned around and headed back down the canyon.   mile 5-6 is the mentalpart of this course.   slight up grade.  can lose the race on this mile.    I had one guy out kick me at the end.   I almost passed out!   Happy with the race.   Congratulations to the st. george running club.  We all placed in our divisions. Clyde won the race.  Super job Clyde!

here are my splits  avg:  6.17  mile
