Worked till 3am this morning and slept till almost 10am and then got up and ran 17.3 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in 2:02. I mixed in fast miles with slow miles but nothing extremely fast. I was still real tired from the workload and not enough sleep. It was hot at already 70 degrees when I started at almost 11am. I really kept it nice and easy and was really only planning on doing 11 miles but sometimes with the available time and not having to work today I stretched it out. Evening: Ran tonight for the newspaper to celebrate the 10th year of the Pocatello Marathon. I really didn't want the exposure but the editor and photographer begged me to do it. That it was a big deal to have me in the story since it's the 10th year of the marathon. I mentioned they should have Bill Mandler do it, because he's ran the marathon more than me. I did wear my St. George/Fast running blog singlet for the photo's to get the exposure. I really didn't want any interviews this year. I wanted to stay low key because I might not even run the race and go camping instead. But most likely now I will run it. I just want to Praise God in my running.
