Got home Sunday at 1pm from camping and was extremely tired this morning.   Got up late so I didn't run as much today because of work. Although I was proud of myself for taking three days off last week.  I needed the break from running.

Ran  8.22 miles at an  6:56 pace in 57:04.

Ran 15.2 miles at an overall 7:09 pace in 1:48.  It was a good run.  I have to work tonight at llpm till early in the morning so I wanted a longer run today.  I did my Satterfield Hill loop.  I see Bill Mandler and spoke with him as I was running.  I wanted to stop and talk but I needed to be back to get ready for work.  Very warm morning and sunny.

Evening

Ran about a mile tonight just to get some exercise before heading to work at 11pm.

Worked till 3am this morning and slept till almost 10am and then got up and ran 17.3 miles at an overall 7:06 pace in 2:02.  I mixed in fast miles with slow miles but nothing extremely fast.  I was still real tired from the workload and not enough sleep.  It was hot at already 70 degrees when I started at almost 11am.  I really kept it nice and easy and was really only planning on doing 11 miles but sometimes with the available time and not having to work today I stretched it out.

Evening:

Ran  tonight for the newspaper to celebrate the 10th year of the Pocatello Marathon.  I really didn't want the exposure but the editor and photographer begged me to do it.  That it was a big deal to have me in the story since it's the 10th year of the marathon.  I mentioned they should have Bill Mandler do it, because he's ran the marathon more than me.  I did wear my St. George/Fast running blog singlet for the photo's to get the exposure.

I really didn't want any interviews this year.  I wanted to stay low key because I might not even run the race and go camping instead.  But most likely now I will run it.  I just want to Praise God in my running.

Kept the pace easy today at 7:11 in 11.5 miles in 1:22 at 50 degrees.  Ran up by the minidome and upper ISU campus area.  My body and legs were tired.  Got a lot of sleep last night.

This morning I ran the Pocatello marathon course with Bill and Barry.  It was nice and cool on the backside of Buckskin around 50 degrees.  Barry's leg was bothering him early in the run so Bill and I ran ahead.  We ran 21.17 miles at a 7:15 pace in 2:34.  It was great running with Bill and had a nice conversation the whole way.  We really didn't care about the pace, and ran the whole distance together.  We were just out there to enjoy a long run.  Thanks Bill for the fun conversation and run.  Barry's leg uneventually got better and he finished running 18 miles.

Evening:

Ran a couple strides tonight to loosen the legs up (.2).

I ran 11 miles back and forth on the Pocatello Marathon course a little after where the half starts in downtown Inkom.  Nothing fast just did a few faster ones at the end, but not real fast (7:05, 6:22, 6:59).  Barry ran 10 miles I did 11.31 at a slow 7:30 pace in 1:24.
